Yuzi Paradise lies 30 km from the Guilin's Yan Shan district, in one Guilin's most popular tourist areas.
It was founded by Taiwanese entrepreneur Mr. Cao Rizhang in 1997 based on the ethos of protecting the environment and contributing to the arts. For the sheer fun of it and with stubborn persistence, Mr. Cao has devoted himself to showcasing modern art, quietly creating the history of the future.
Since 1997, Yuzi Paradise has hosted the International Sculptural Symposium 11 times. In 2009, we began a partnership with the Shanghai Sculpture Park that has led to four annual International Painting Camps. Over the last 16 years, our close collaboration with over 200 artists from 47 countries and regions has created a spellbinding artistic landscape. After opening to the public in April 2004, we have continued to hold events that have attracted the participation of a growing number of artists. As our art collection has grown, we have gradually become a new landmark for modern art in Southern China.
In September 2013, Guilin Club Med officially opened in the grounds of Yuzi Paradise. Set amidst the sublime landscape of Guilin, the new resort was born from a partnership between Yuzi paradise and France's Club Med. Keeping modern art at its core, the resort provides an unprecedented experience for guests that expect the best from life, offering them a holiday experience that edifies both body and mind.
